McKenzie Pearson brought home gold in the triple jump to highlight KC's performances

AMES, Iowa - Braving the cold, Kansas City returned to Iowa for the Cyclone Open. Once again, Logan Pratt showcased his sprinting abilities by securing fifth place in the open 400 meters, claiming the second position in the league for this discipline with a time of 48.66. Meanwhile, his teammate, Abdelrahim Mahgoub, secured the ninth position with a time of 49.24, earning him the ninth rank in the Summit League. In her debut 400-meter run as a Roo, freshman Teresa Thomas clinched third place with a time of 57.69, currently positioning her fifth in the Summit League standings. Additionally, McKenzie Pearson won the triple jump with a leap of 11.63m (38' 2").
