An 86th minute goal from Anna Jennings put the Roos on top

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Women's Soccer kicked off its season at Durwood Soccer Stadium this evening, taking home a 2-1 victory over Lindenwood. The Roos dominated possession for the majority of the game and pushed forward with a heavy attack. An Anna Jennings goal in the 85^th minute secured the victory.

Jennings's goal was the third of her career, the first since Aug. 29, 2021. It was also her first career game winner.
The Roos scored multiple goals in a match for the first time since Oct. 24, 2021.
