Robards Leads Roos in Summit League Title Comeback

Joshuaa Robards brought home the Summit League individual championship, finishing two-over on the tournament
Lincoln, Neb. – After three days at the Summit League Men's Golf Championship, Kansas City Men's Golf won the Summit League conference title. This is the first Summit League Championship for the Roos since 2013. The last conference win was in 2019, when the program was in the Western Athletic Conference.
Kansas City came into the third round in second place, with a seven-stroke deficit. The Roos overcame Denver and ended the tournament with a four-stroke advantage. The team saw contributions from everyone, but Joshuaa Robards stood out, earning the individual conference title and bringing home Summit League Championships MVP honors. Robards shot even-par in rounds one and three, sealing the win today with a birdie on the seventeenth hole. After two difficult rounds in the wind to begin the tournament, Mesa Falleur shot one-under in the third round, the team's best individual round on the week.
