Bent Makes Noise at Hawkeye Invitational

Harry Bent finished T-8th with an even par performance

RIVERSIDE, Iowa -- Kansas City Men's Golf saw a strong result at the Hawkeye Invitational which wrapped up Tuesday afternoon. At seventh place, the Roos were 15 strokes over par for the tournament which added up to 879 strokes across the three rounds. In relation to other teams in the Summit League, KC finished ahead of the likes of Omaha and South Dakota but just behind North Dakota State and South Dakota State.

Harry Bent was the best Roo on the course this week, recording an individual stroke total of 216 which was right at even par overall. Additionally, Bent notched two rounds of under par golf, finishing at -2 in round one and -1 in round three with five birdies to cap off the stellar outing of golf for the junior. Bent has come on strong for the Roos this season as the Kansas State transfer has finished with the best performance on the team in two of the Roos last three invitationals.
