SET ONE / 22-25 | Whetstone and Warren teamed up to secure the first two points of the set, giving Kansas City an early lead of 2-0. The golden Hurricanes responded swiftly, but Ozark countered even faster with a decisive kill. The match remained closely contested as Tulsa and Kansas City traded points, bringing the score to a tied 7-7. Kansas City then sparked a four-point run, highlighted by a block from Ozyurek and Whetstone. As the Roos attempted to build on their lead, Tulsa fought back, exchanging kills to level the game at 22-22. The teams continued to trade points, and in a surge of energy, Tulsa claimed the last three points to secure the first set.
SET TWO / 25 - 18 | In the second set, the Golden Hurricanes had an early advantage, jumping out to a 5-1 lead and prompting a timeout from Kansas City. Whetstone managed to halt their three-point run with a perfectly placed kill in the center court. The Roos initiated their comeback with a kill from Carly Gillan, followed by a precisely executed ACE from Caroline Keithley. Dunford then leveled the score at 10-10 with a well-placed kill from the outside, targeting the middle of the court. Points were exchanged, bringing the score to 13-13. The Roos aimed to sustain their momentum and kills from Leah Green and Gillen led to a Tulsa timeout at 21-17. Coming out of the timeout, the Roos continued with a four-point scoring run. The Golden Hurricanes couldn't mount a successful counter, and a block from Sydney Henry and Carly Gillan, along with an attack error from Tulsa, secured the second set for the Roos.
SET THREE / 16 - 25 | Whetstone secured the first point of the set, but Tulsa responded with a four-point run. A block by Whetstone and Ozyurek halted the momentum at 2-4. Despite the effort, the golden Hurricanes maintained offensive pressure, leading 7-3. However, Warren, set up by Henry, delivered a crucial kill for the Roos. As Tulsa continued to apply offensive pressure, the Roos struggled, falling behind at 20-10. Kansas City found a moment of momentum, initiating a three-point scoring run with Gillen as the catalyst, contributing a kill followed by points from Henry and Dunford. Despite the Roos' efforts, the momentum wasn't enough as they ultimately fell 16-25 in the third set.

The Roos retaliated promptly with their three-point run, leveling the game at 5-5. The teams continued to exchange points in the early part of the set, with Tulsa initiating another four-point scoring run, leading 11-16. However, Dunford's kill disrupted Tulsa's momentum. The Roos planned a comeback with a 5-1 scoring series, narrowing the gap to make it a one-point set at 16-17, but they still trailed Tulsa. Despite their efforts, Tulsa's early lead proved to be the Roos' downfall as they traded points but remained behind. Tulsa ultimately secured the match with an attack error on the Roos, giving Tulsa a three-to-one match win.
