Kaminski, Wattree Named Summit League Preseason Players To Watch

Chloe Kaminski and Ryanne Wattree look to lead the Roos to an improved 2026 campaign
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Summit League released the 2026 Volleyball preseason polls Tuesday morning. The Roos will look to bounce back from last year's campaign with a revamped roster.
The Roos added seven new players to this year's roster including four freshman Gizem Erglou, Madelyn Bahnsen, Savy Repinski, and Hannah Wayment in addition three junior college transfers will also join the squad with Mila Zoric, Ipek Kusoglu, and Dani Brey to add a veteran presence to the squad.
The Roos continue to build the foundations for success bringing back all of their 2025 freshmen who now have learned valuable in-game experience during last year's campaign.
They start their season on the road for the first two weeks which will be a test for the team. Hopes are high as they head to Clarksville Tennessee August 29th and 30th where they will take on Jackson State University, UT-Martin, and Austin Peay in their first week of competition.
Key returners Chloe Kaminski and Ryanne Wattree look to continue their personal success from last year into this season.
Wattree finished the 2025 campaign with 203 kills and 227.5 overall points. The junior from Kansas City, Mo. looks to continue her momentum into this season, starting the season off hot with Summit League Players to Watch.
Kaminski, a fifth-year from Blue Springs, Mo. ranked second on the team last year in digs with 232 and looks to extend that number going into this season. Kaminski, a leader on the team, is set to be a key part in the team's success this season and was also named Summit League Preseason Players to Watch.
