THE ROOS, QUOTED
Head Coach Jacie Hoyt
- On the play of Sanaa' St. Andre and Halle Duft
- "Those two tag-teamed it for us. Sanaa' is as fast and athletic as they come. When she's in the game, that's going to change it. I thought Halle did a really good job. She knows the scout better than the scout coach does. That gives me a lot of confidence to put her in games like that."
Brooklyn McDavid
- On the team's fourth quarter mentality
- "I've been on a lot of teams where we didn't win those close games, and good teams grind those out. It's a blessing to be on a team where we don't get out-coached and we have girls that really fight for a win."
Naomie Alnatas
- On the team's fourth quarter mentality
- "Any time our back is against the wall, we have a response … Every single fourth quarter has been different, and I'm happy that we've had to struggle and grind it out because that's exactly what March is about."
UP NEXT
The Roos will finish the regular season on the road against conference leaders South Dakota and South Dakota State. With two games remaining, the Roos hold a two-game lead over travel partner Oral Roberts for the third seed in the conference tournament.
