High School: St. Andre helped her Rock Bridge High School team to a 18-10 record this past season, including a District Championship. The point guard averaged 11.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and nearly 2 steals per game. Prior to moving to Missouri, St. Andre's athletic success was shown on the track and on the hardwood for Oakdale High School, in Oakdale, Louisiana. As a sophomore, she was the Class 3A high jump champion while earning 1st Team All-State in basketball. In her first year of playing at Oakdale High School, she earned 1st Team All-District while taking home the Most Valuable Player award.
Personal: Coached in high school by Jill Nagel at Rock Bridge High School … Played AAU for one of the top programs in the Midwest, Missouri Phenom and Coach Greg Logsdon … Daughter of Nikiea Posey and Chad St. Andre … Has one brother Kobe and one sister Setorie… Undecided in her major.
Why Kansas City?: I chose KC because it is close to home and family is very important to me. When I visited UMKC, I knew immediately this would be another family for me. I look forward to showing my KC family what I am capable of and growing together.
