VERMILLION, S.D. – Kansas City Women's Basketball's (22-6, 12-5) win streak was snapped by a tough South Dakota (22-5, 15-1) defense tonight, 71-49. The Roos were led by Brooklyn McDavid for the third game in-a-row, finishing with 15 points and eight rebounds.

STATS TO NOTE

The Coyote defense held KC to a season-low 33.3% from the field.
McDavid was the lone Roo in double-digits, finishing with 15 points, eight rebounds and two assists.
Mickens and Williams came off the bench to grab their first points of conference play, combining for eight points.
Alnatas was held to a season-low eight points, but dished out a team-high four assists, grabbed four boards and swiped two steals.
