Kansas City Wraps Up Road Trip in North Dakota

The Roos will take on North Dakota tomorrow at 7 p.m. and North Dakota State on Saturday at 1 p.m.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -Â Kansas City Men's Basketball enters the all-important final stretch of the regular season as the current four-seed in the Summit. The Roos finish the season with games against the current first, third, fifth and tenth place teams.

- KC is coming off its best three-point shooting performance of the season, knocking down a season-high 13 triples on 56.5% shooting against Oral Roberts. Evan Gilyard II led the way with 6-of-8 long range shooting.
- Since the start of league play, Gilyard has taken over as an elite scorer. After averaging 11.5 points per game in nonconference play, he has logged 20.0 points per contest against Summit opponents.
- Marvin Nesbitt Jr. is coming into his own as a scoring leader on this team. He has notched double-digits in 10-straight games and dropped back-to-back 20-point games for the first time in his career on Feb. 5 & 8.
- With the Roos' efficiency from the field, giving them second chances can be deadly. In KC's 15 wins, they are averaging 9.7 offensive rebounds per game. In 10 losses, the Roos average just 5.7 offensive boards.
- Kansas City shot a blazing 51.6% from the field in Saturday's loss at Oral Roberts, the Roos' first loss of the year when shooting at a higher clip than their opponent.Â
- With just one win this weekend, the Roos will set the program record for single-season Summit League wins (10) and tie the record for road wins (7).

- The Roos are looking to sweep the series as KC defeated UND 79-74 earlier this season.
