Kansas City will take on Denver tomorrow at 6 p.m. and Omaha on Saturday at 2 p.m.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -Â After spending over a month away from the Swinney Center, Kansas City Women's Basketball returns home seeking season sweeps against Denver and Omaha.
Kansas City Notes
- Kansas City has played five-consecutive true road games, the most since playing six-straight early in the 2017-18 season.
- The Roos have averaged more turnovers than their opponents, but are better at converting those turnovers into points. On the season, the Roos average 1.1 points per turnover forced, while holding opponents to 0.9 points per turnover forced.
- Kansas City is happy to shoot the three-ball, but is more successful when they are selective with their shots. The Roos hold a 5-4 record on the season when they shoot 20-or-more triples, but are 8-1 when shooting fewer than 20.
- Brooklyn McDavid is one of the best in the country at creating second opportunities. She averages 3.7 offensive rebounds per game, which leads the Summit and ranks 28th in the nation. The team is 5-0 when she nabs five-plus offensive boards.
- Naomie Alnatas is coming off an eight-assist game, her sixth game this season with six-plus. She has notched at least three assists in every game and ranks 46th in the nation with a 4.9 apg average.
- A pair of wins this week would give Jacie Hoyt her third 15-win season as head coach. That would put her one behind Brian Agler for the most in program history.
Last Time vs. Denver
