
Men's Soccer Falls in Decision to Northwestern

EVANSTON, Ill. - A three-goal second half by Northwestern was too much for Kansas City Men's Soccer today as the Wildcats defeated the Roos, 4-1. Vlad Jokic scored his first goal of the season in the 26th minute to put the Roos on the board.
KEY MOMENTS
- 6' | Arne Neufang earned the first shot of the night for Kansas City, but it fell right into the hands of Northwestern's keeper.
- 13' | With Northwestern trying to make something happen on a set piece, Jony Munoz made a sliding stop in the box to stop the threat.
- 26' | Jokic put the Roos in front early off of a beautiful play by the Roos. Munoz played the ball in the middle to Neufang, who split two defenders and found Jokic in the middle of the box. Jokic made a side step to avoid a defender and disposed of the ball into the back of the net.

STATS TO NOTE
- The Roos led the game in all major offensive categories, besides goals. Kansas City took 15 shots (8 SOG) compared to Northwestern's 10 (7 SOG). The Roos also had five corner kicks compared to the Wildcats' two.
