KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Stifling defense in the first half and scorching offense in the second guided Kansas City Men's Basketball to a win over Green Bay in the Swinney Center this evening, 64-55. Josiah Allick overcame early foul trouble to lead the Roos, finishing with 18 points and seven rebounds.

THE ROOS, QUOTED
Coach Billy Donlon
- "The first 10-to-12 minutes of the second half was some of the best we've played all year."
- "It's a good, quality win at home … I thought there were some good things on both sides of the ball, just weren't consistent on both sides of the ball at the same time."
- "Jacob Johnson had his best defensive effort since he's been here, so he should be happy with that performance, and then Josiah took over the game in the last 10 minutes."
- -"We knew it was going to be a bit of a street fight out there, the shots weren't falling outside so we had to get them somewhere else. Luckily, we were able to stick to our principles."
- "We don't want to give anyone a good look at three … if you can't defend a three, you don't stand a chance. Especially playing in the Summit League, it's going to be a necessary part of our defense if we want to win a championship."

The Roos make a quick turnaround and travel to SIUE for a game on Sunday at 2 p.m.
