- McDavid scored 29 points, her highest scoring output in a game since she scored 32 during her junior year at Pacific on Nov. 11, 2019.
- Alnatas and McDavid both set career-highs for free throws attempted and free throws made in a game.
- Kansas City never trailed, taking a 3-0 lead six seconds into the game and never relinquishing it.
- Alnatas set her career-high with nine assists in the game.
- The Roos made 29 free throws and attempted 33, their most free throws made and attempted in a game since at least the start of the 2019-20 season.

THE ROOS, QUOTED
- Coach Jacie Hoyt
- "What a fun game to play in. We knew that they were going to press the whole time, and we were prepared for that, we've been preparing for that for a long time. I'm just so proud of our players and the way that they executed the game plan."
- "Our composure was unreal today. We talked since we started preparing for this game about weathering the storm and staying composed. We knew that we couldn't let the mental and emotional side expose us."
- "We gained a lot of confidence this week. We saw a lot of different styles of basketball and had to overcome different things. We talk a lot about 'E+R=O.' The 'E' is event, the 'R' is response and the 'O' is outcome. Our response, every time we were faced with adversity, we rose to the occasion. We grew so much this week."
- Brooklyn McDavid
- "I think the coaches did a great job of keeping us locked in on personnel and what the game plan was. There wasn't anything that surprised us in the game today and that was crucial."
- "I'm very grateful for teammates that can pass out the ball. I've been in the NCAA for four years, and this is the first time playing with guards that can move off-ball, listen and communicate with each other. It's a blessing."
- Mandy Willems
- "Playing fast is one of our strengths and we look to do that every game. Today, that was a big advantage for us."
- "(McDavid) is obviously pretty effective in the paint, so that opens up opportunities for me around the perimeter. Mimie can get downhill at any given moment, Key (Bradley) is a slasher and a great player, and Paige Bradford is in-and-out, so it's helpful to have all those threats around me as a shooter."
UP NEXT
After a perfect 3-0 week in the Swinney Center, the Roos take to the road for a game at Dixie State on Nov. 24 before playing in the UNLV Thanksgiving Classic on Nov. 27 and 28.
