Five Things to Know

After a weekend off, the Roos are set to be back in action at Oral Roberts this Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m.
In the Jan. 8 game against South Dakota, Brandon McKissic dropped a team-high 19 points and surpassed the 1,000 career-point mark. Currently sits at 13th in program history with 1,026 career points.
The Roos welcome graduate transfer Arkel Lamar this weekend. Lamar officially joined the team from UMBC on Jan. 20. During his time at UMBC, he averaged 8.0 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, including a double-double in the Retrievers' historic NCAA Tournament upset over Virginia.
With a 52.4% field goal clip, the Roos currently sit at sixth in Division I. They lead the Summit League by over 4%.
So far this season, Kansas City's games have been decided by the halftime mark. In games that the Roos lead at the half, they hold a 5-0 record. When they trail going into the break the Roos are 0-8.
