Kangaroos Fall To Jackrabbits

Brookings, S.D. -- The UMKC women's soccer team traveled to Brookings, S.D., to take on South Dakota State on Friday night. The Kangaroos fell 5-0 to the Jackrabbits, dropping to 1-14-1 on the regular season and 1-5 in The Summit League. Jami Finnell recorded four saves for the Kangaroos.
The first half was evenly played but the `Roos closed out the half down 1-0 following a South Dakota State goal in the 31st minute.
The Jackrabbits' explosive second half would result in four goals, handing the `Roos their fifth league loss. South Dakota State scored in the 49th, 52nd, 55th and 78th minute.
UMKC continues on the road north to take on North Dakota State. The Kangaroos play the Bison on Sun., Oct. 25 at noon.
