2013 -- Indoor: Placed third (9:06.09) in the 3,000 meters at the Jayhawk Classic (Jan. 25)… Took 24th (15:31.96) in the 5,000 meters at the Iowa State Classic (Feb. 8). Outdoor: Named to the Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence and to The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll as a Distinguished Scholar… finished fourth at the Track-It Buster Invitational in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 15:50.91.
2012 -- Indoor: Set a personal best mark in the 3,000 meters of 8:50.55 to finish 12th in The Summit League Championships (2/24)... Crossed the finish line at 8:54.81 in the Jawhawk Classic (1/27) in the 3,000 meters... Set a personal best mark in the 5,000 meters of 15:01.82 at the Iowa State Classic (2/10)... Placed 12th with a personal best time of 4:35.37 in the mile event at the Kansas State Invitational (1/14). Outdoor: Recorded UMKC personal best times in the 3,000 Meter Run (8:50.28) at the State Farm/ESU Relays (4/7) and in the 5,000 Meter Run (15:22.77) at the Track-It Buster Invitational (4/27)... finished seventh in the 3,000 Run at the State Farm/ESU Relays (4/7) and sixth at the Track-It Buster Invitational (4/27) in the 5,000 Meter Run... Named a Distinguished Scholar on The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic All-League Team and to the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
2011 -- Indoor... placed fifth at the ISU Open (1/22) in the 3,000 meters with a personal best time of 9:04.87... also took fifth in the 3,000 meters at the ISU Holiday Preview (12/10)... clocked in at 4:36.44 in the mile at the KSU Invitational (1/15) for a personal record.
High School -- Three-time all-district and all-sectional athlete... served as team captain as a junior and senior... all-state in the 3,200 meters as a junior and all-state in cross country as a senior... posted the personal best time of 16:06 in the 5,000 meters as a senior... clocked in at 9:42 in the 3,200 meters, 9:37 in the 1,600 meters and 2:02 in the 800 meters as a junior for personal records... a member of the National Honor Society (2008-10), Student Council and Orchestra... also earned the National Latin-Gold Award.
