Jacob Klee enters the 2021-22 season is his second year as a Graduate Assistant for Head Coach Billy Donlon and the Roos. Klee’s roles include running the equipment room, organizing team meals, and assisting in travel coordination, among other items.
Klee was raised in Roslyn Heights, N.Y., where he graduated from The Wheatley School in 2017. He served as the basketball team’s manager in his senior year of high school.
After graduating from The Wheatley School, Jacob attended The University of Miami from 2017-20. At Miami, Klee was a three-year manager for the Hurricanes. In his final two years with the team, Klee served as the Head Manager. As Head Manager for the Hurricanes, Klee was responsible for leading a group of more than ten managers, running the day-to-day operations of the equipment room, rebounding for players and assisting coaches with any other needs. Klee was part of the 2017-18 Miami team that made NCAA Tournament. While at Miami, Klee worked with multiple NBA Draft Picks, including Lonnie Walker IV, Bruce Brown Jr. and Dewan Hernandez. In addition, Klee worked with five other professional basketball players during his time at Miami.
Klee has two younger brothers, Robbie and Aidan. Aidan is currently a Men’s Basketball Student Manager at Lynn University. His cousin EJ Sardinha played wide receiver for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers from 2011-15. Another cousin, Vincent Rinella, played soccer for the Siena College Saints.
