KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Men's Basketball (4-22, 1-11 Summit) dropped a 104-64 decision to St. Thomas (21-7, 10-3 Summit) this evening. Chris Dockery led the Roos with 13 points.
St. Thomas built a 14-point lead going into the half and led the game wire-to-wire. Jerome Palm put up six first half points on 3-of-3 shooting and Jayson Petty added six of his own with a pair of three-pointers.
The Tommies continued to pour it in throughout the second half, shooting 71% from the field and 64% from three. Dockery scored nine of his 13 points in the second frame and Trey Booker-Lowery gave Kansas City a boost off the bench with eight points late.
The Roos return to action on Feb. 19 at North Dakota for a 7 p.m. tip off.
