Kansas City Notes
- Kansas City Men's Basketball is back on the road on Thursday evening, traveling to North Dakota for the second of two regular season meetings with the Fighting Hawks. Kansas City has had success at UND in the past, posting a 5-3 overall record in the series.
- The Roos will look for continued production from Chris Dockery, who led KC with 13 points and six rebounds in the Roos' recent game against St. Thomas. Dockery has reached double figure scoring in three-straight games and has led KC in scoring twice in that span, averaging 13.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game since Feb. 4.
- Kansas City had success inside against St. Thomas, shooting 25-of-40 from two-point range against the Tommies. The Roos' 62.5% two-point percentage accounted for 78.1% of Kansas City's total scoring in Saturday's game.
- Kasheem Grady II made his 10th start of the season against the Tommies and just his third start since the beginning of conference play. Grady went for eight pointsfive rebounds and a pair of steals on Saturday, playing a game-high 35 minutes.
- Kansas City assisted on 15 of its 29 field goals against St. Thomas, led by CJ Evans' four assists. Evans has led the Roos' assisting efforts in 19 games this season and is averaging 3.9 assists per game, the third-best average in the Summit League.
North Dakota Notes
- North Dakota enters Thursday's meeting with a 15-14 overall record and a 9-4 mark in Summit League play. UND looks to bounce back from a recent loss to North Dakota State.
- The Fighting Hawks are led in scoring by Greyson Uelmen, who ranks sixth in the Summit with a 15.2 points per game average.
- As a team, North Dakota leads the Summit and ranks 70th in the nation in bench scoring, averaging 26.93 bench points per game.
- Kansas City leads the all-time series between the two teams, 9-7, but North Dakota has taken five of the past seven meetings.
- The Fighting Hawks took an 81-79 victory in the first meeting this season. Kansas City had a possession as time expired, but UND held on to win.
