Prep School -- Averaged 16 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals per game at the IMG Preparatory School in Bradenton, Fla.
High School -- Averaged 13 points, five rebounds and five assists as a senior at Shaker Heights High School... team finished with a 14-12 overall record... two-year varsity letterwinner... as a sophomore named the 263rd best player in the nation by Hoop Scoop Online... also was selected to the all-newcomer team by the Bay Pro-AM City League Association... high school coach was Chris Ward.
Personal -- Born on Dec. 14, 1987... son of Hakeem and Crystal Lewis... has five older siblings in Michelle King, Aisha Porter and Naeemah, Deja and Sekou Lewis... also has a niece (Amaya King) and nephew (Zeke Cannon)... brother-in-law is Howard Porter... brother, Sekou, played collegiate basketball for four years at American University, and he played high school basketball with LeBron James... nickname is “BK”... was recruited by assistant coach Martin Unger initially at Nicholls State... majoring in liberal arts.
