2006-07 -- Saw action in all 32 games on the season... among the starting five in nine games, including the final six contests on the year... averaged four points and 2.4 rebounds... shot .462 (42-91) from the floor and .418 (28-67) from three-point land... also had 17 steals and 15 assists... scored in double figures in a pair of contests... connected on three or more three pointers in four games... posted his first career double-double with career-highs in points (18) and rebounds (10) vs. Oakland (2/15)... connected on 6-of-9 shot attempts with six treys... almost single handedly led the team to the win against OU, as he scored 12-of-the-team's-16 points in the overtime period... scored the team's first nine points to finish with 15 points on 4-of-5 shooting from long range at Western Illinois (2/22)... named to the Mid-Con Winter/Spring Academic all-Conference team and to the Mid-Continent Conference Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence... recipient of the Stan Durwood Award for having the highest GPA at a minimum of 100 hours passed... also received the Lee Hunt Award, which is presented to a basketball student-athlete who demonstrates academic ability, moral character and leadership.
2005-06 -- Played in 23 games, including starting the first seven games of the season... averaged 3.3 points and 1.5 rebounds on the year... 20-of-his 24 field goals on the season came from behind the three-point line... scored a career-high 15 points at Penn State (12/7) on 5-of-9 shooting from long range... grabbed a career-most six rebounds at Western Illinois (2/25)... named to the Mid-Con Winter/Spring Academic all-Conference team and to the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence... recipient of the Lee Hunt Award, which is presented to a basketball student-athlete who demonstrates academic ability, moral character and leadership.

High School -- An all-state honorable mention selection in 2003-04 at Shawnee Mission South High School in Overland Park, Kan.... also a member of the all-state academic team... averaged 14 points and seven rebounds per game as a junior... nominee for Wendy's High School All-America team in 2002-03.
Personal -- Born on Aug. 18, 1985... son of Jim and Cheryl Gettinger... sister, Kelly, is a member of the UMKC volleyball team... majoring in civil engineering.
