Ramarola Claims Summit League Defensive Weekly Honor

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Summit League announced Tuesday afternoon that Kansas City's Mark Ramarola was named the Summit League Defensive Peak Performer of the Week.Â
Ramarola bagged a brace in Kansas City's lone match of the week last week in a 3-1 conference opening victory over Oral Roberts.
The Frenchman opened the scoring when he found the back of the net from a cross with his head. He would then score a banger of a goal from outside the box, bending it into the top bins in the 62nd minute to put the match to bed. It was his third & fourth goals of the season to put him in a three-way tie for the team lead(Kistmann & Beunza).Â
Kansas City have won three straight Summit League Defensive Peak Performers of the Week awards.Â
The Roos are on the road this Saturday, October 3rd, when they are in Minnesota for a matchup with St. Thomas; kickoff is slated for 1 PM.
