Kansas City Heads West for Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational

BOULDER, Colo. - The Kansas City Men's Golf team heads west to take part in the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational for their third tournament of the fall season.
Kansas City is coming off an 8th-place finish at the Wildcat Invitational two weeks ago, and a ninth-place finish to open the season in Michigan.
Harry Bent has shot 6-over & 5-over in the opening two tournaments of the season; he finished tied for 15th at the Wildcat Invitational, where he shot a 71(-1) in the final round in Manhattan.
Chance Rinkol has shot the team's low on the season with a 68 in round two of the Island Resort Intercollegiate; he finished tied for 20th that week at 2-under par.Â
Flilph Dock has shot 2 rounds of even or under par so far this season, both coming at his first collegiate event.
Saxxon Ford enters his sophomore season with the Roos and will be competing in his first tournament of the season this week. He had a 74.59 scoring average over 10 tournaments; his best finish was a 5th-place finish at the Nassau IntercollegiateÂ
Niels Knudsen will compete in his first tournament as a Roos; last season he played at Arkansas State, where he had a 73.04 scoring average in two events. He finished fifth in the Arkansas State Spring Invitational last season.Â
The Roos will compete in the 54-hole tournament starting tomorrow, September 29th, where they will play 36 holes with tee times set for 9:15 AM, and the tournament will conclude Sept. 30th.
