Gosch Earns Summit League Weekly Honor

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Summit League announced Tuesday afternoon that Kansas City's Bryson Gosch was named the Defensive Peak Performer of the Week.
Gosch, a fifth-year senior, played all 90 minutes and helped keep a clean sheet on the road against Drake last Monday evening, where the Roos held Drake to only four shots on goal. This past Friday, in one of the biggest games in Kansas City Men's Soccer history, the Roos took down No. 10 Michigan State 3-1; Gosch once again played all 90 minutes and recorded an assist in the 85th minute to help put the match to bed. It was the Missouri natives' second assist of the season and the first since the opening game of the season in a 5-0 win over SIUE.
Kansas City is back in action tomorrow night, September 16th, on the road at undefeated & No. 19 Missouri State; kickoff is slated for 6:00 PM.
