Men's Soccer Checks in at No. 25 in Preseason United Soccer Coaches' Poll

The Roos are preseason ranked for the second-straight year
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Men's Soccer has proven its spot among the best of the best across the past two seasons and the Roos have been appropriately honored in the United Soccer Coaches' preseason rankings. KC nabbed the No. 25 spot in the initial rankings, garnering 18 points from coaches across the nation.Â
Kansas City is the lone Summit League team in the rankings as the Roos are coming off a 2025 Summit League regular season title. Three other programs on the Roos' schedule this season find themselves in the top-25: No. 2 NC State (Away, Oct. 11), No. 15 SMU (Away, Sep. 4) and No. 18 San Diego (Home, Sep. 20).
The first chance for fans to see the Roos in action will be in an exhibition contest against Rockhurst on Aug. 11, followed by the season opener against SIUE on Aug. 20. Season tickets to catch the nationally-ranked Roos are available now, giving fans an opportunity to catch all nine of Kansas City's games at Durwood Soccer Stadium in-person with options beginning at just $60.
