Francou Earns Spot on MAC Hermann Trophy 'Forwards to Watch' List

Jeremy Francou enters his third campaign as a Roo with high expectations
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - As Kansas City Men's Soccer enters the 2026 campaign, senior forward Jeremy Francou will have eyes across the nation watching. The Chartres, France native was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy 'Forwards to Watch' list, identifying 28 of the NCAA's premier attacking players. Debuting in 1967, the MAC Hermann trophy is well-regarded as college soccer's oldest and most prestigious award.
Francou was named First Team All-West Region last season to go along with First Team All-Summit League and league All-Tournament honors. He was top-20 in the nation with 11 goals scored on the year, also ranking fourth in a single season in program history. Combined with three assists in 2025, his 25 total points ranked 26th in the NCAA and were the fourth-most in program history.
He continued turning heads this summer, playing with the USL2's Vermont Green FC. In addition to winning the USL2 National Championship, Francou led the nation in goals, tallying 18 total.Â
Francou is expected to build upon his prestigious career this season with Kansas City and cement his spot in the record books. The Roos open the season against SIUE on Aug. 20, with single game and season tickets available for purchase now.
