
Kansas City Signs Lacey Thomas

Thomas will be a junior transferring from Chattahoochee Valley CC
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City Women's Basketball continues to add more talent to the 2026-27 roster by signing Lacey Thomas on Friday. Thomas is a 6'1 forward from Pine Mountain, Ga. and last attended Chattahoochee Valley Community College.
"My athletic and academic goals would be met here at Kansas City," Thomas said. "And there are unlimited opportunities for me to prosper both on and off the court."
Thomas averaged 15.2 points and 9.5 rebounds while shooting 46% from the field in her sophomore season for the Pirates. In her freshman season, Thomas played for Cloud County Community College and led her team in scoring, averaging 12.2 and 7.3 rebounds per game while shooting 46.6% from the field.
Before the collegiate level, Thomas was a First Team All-Region performer at Callaway High School. Thomas averaged 17 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks per game for Cavaliers while being a two-time recipient of her school's student-athlete academic award.
