
Men's Basketball Signs Josh Kori

Kori is a 6'4 guard from Kansas City, Mo.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Men's Basketball will bring local talent to the stage in 2026-27, as Kansas City native Josh Kori officially signed with the Roos today. Kori is a 6'4 guard and will join KC as an incoming freshman.
"I chose Kansas City because I want to represent my hometown and change the culture," Kori said.
Kori attended Oak Park High School in Kansas City, where he was coached by Sherron Collins. He averaged 16.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 52% from the field and 38% from three. His senior campaign saw him earn First Team All-Conference, All-District and All-State honors.Â
Kori played club ball for KC Run GMC, where he was coached by LJ Goolsby. During his time with Run GMC, Kori was a member of the 16U Under Armour National Champion squad.
Originally from Kansas City, Kori was born on Sep. 7, 2007 to parents Abdelgalil and Nura Kori. He has there siblings, Jeremiah, Jamal and Jouen.
