Harry Bent was KC's top golfer, going under par in round three and finishing at +1 for the tournament

LITCHFIELD PARK, AZ -- Kansas City Men's Golf got results in the desert heat of Arizona, placing 16th at the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate this week. The tournament was played at the Wigwam Resort, a par 71 and 5k-plus foot course that the Roos braced this past Monday and Tuesday. The Roos shot 896 as a team and went +32 as a unit through the two-day event.

Kansas City scored 896 strokes as a unit and totaled a score of +32 in three rounds. Guiding the Roos forward was the steady club of Harry Bent. The junior Scotsman carried KC's best score, going +1 for the tournament thanks to an even par outing in round two and -2 in round three, making him the lone Roo to shoot under par on the final day of competition.

Bent's performance was good for a tie of 29th in the competition. Saxxon Ford and Jack Spencer placed second and third on the team respectively with the former shooting +10 to finish in 71st while the latter went +12 to nab 79th place.
