Kansas City WBB will take on South Dakota State at 2 p.m., followed by MBB against Omaha at 7 p.m.
KANSAS CITY - As winter weather approaches the Kansas City area, the forecast inside of the Swinney Center remains the same: comfortable temperatures and a steady rain of Roo buckets. The doubleheader of Kansas City Women's and Men's Basketball remains on schedule for Saturday.
Women's Basketball - 2 p.m. vs. South Dakota State
The Roos women tip off the day at 2 p.m. against South Dakota State. A limited number of fans will receive a free plush mini kangaroo key chain, and all fans can enter to win a Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium prize pack as part of the Hoppin' Roo Zoo Celebration.
Men's Basketball - 7 p.m. vs. Omaha
Men's basketball closes the doubleheader at 7 p.m. against defending Summit League Champion Omaha. The Roos are looking for a regular season sweep of the Mavericks after winning the first meeting of the year, 73–66, on Jan. 3.
Tickets
Tickets for both games are available online at KCRoos.com/tickets, by phone at (816) 889-8758 or in-person starting one-hour prior to tip-off at the Swinney Center Box Office. Courtside seating is available for each game and the men's game features a food and beverage-inclusive opportunity in the Boulevard Brewing Courtside Club Presented by UMB Private Wealth Management.
Parking
Due to uncertainty with snow accumulation on surface lots, fans are encouraged to park in the Cherry Street Garage and use the enclosed walkway to access the Holmes Street entrance of the Swinney Center.
