Kansas City took the first game of the doubleheader with a seventh inning walk-off
KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Softball (3-16) earned a dramatic win over SIUE (12-10) in its first game of Thursday's doubleheader, a 3-2 walk-off victory before an 8-0 loss in game two. Sabrina Rogers played a large role in the Kansas City win, picking up an RBI single in the first inning and scoring the winning run in the seventh. She finished the day 4-of-6 from the plate, notching two hits in both games. Briona Woods was crucial for the Roos' defensive efforts, logging a team-high six putouts from center field in the first game.
