Kansas City dropped a decision to New Mexico State to close the weekend
KEY MOMENTS
- Top 1 / 1-0 | Ava Martinez was the Roos' first base runner with a bunt single, stealing second and coming around to score on a Kendyl Anderson double. NMSU responded with four runs in the bottom of the inning.
- Bottom 3 / 1-6 | Maddy Duvall entered the game and worked around a leadoff walk to get out of the bottom of the third with no runs scored.
