Kansas City Notes

Kansas City Women's Soccer remains on the road for the second-straight game, traveling to North Dakota for a meeting that will have great implications in the Summit League standings. The Roos have seven points and the Fighting Hawks have five heading into the home stretch of league play.
KC is coming off a momentous 3-1 win over North Dakota State, the Roos' first Summit League road victory since defeating South Dakota on Oct. 14, 2022.
Olivia Platt scored a pair of goals against the Bison, the first brace of her Kansas City career. She now has six goals on the season and is tied for fifth in the NCAA with three penalty kick makes on the year.
Platt, Delfina Zolesio (10) and Ashley Koch (6) are all ranked top-three in the Summit in total goals. Kansas City is the only team in the league to have three players with five or more goals.
Riley Porter added Kansas City's third goal against the Bison, her second goal in as many games. Porter played 46 minutes, her second-straight game with 40-plus after not reaching that mark in her 10 appearances previous.

North Dakota Notes

North Dakota currently holds a 7-6-3 record, but are coming off a 2-1 loss at the hands of Oral Roberts on Thursday afternoon.
The Fighting Hawks' Cora Ellermann ranks first in the Summit and 27th in the NCAA with seven assists on the season.
As a team, UND ranks third in the Summit in shots per game, averaging 14.63 attempts per contest.
The all-time series is deadlocked at 2-2-2, with Kansas City owning a 2-0-2 advantage across the past four seasons.
The Roos picked up a 3-2 win at Durwood Soccer Stadium last year, scoring all three goals in the second half after falling behind 2-0.
