KANSAS CITY – Kansas City Men's Basketball (10-7, 2-0) was dominant on all fronts, dispatching Oral Roberts (4-10, 0-1) 90-67 in the Swinney Center to earn their sixth consecutive victory on Saturday evening. The Roos held the Golden Eagles to 67 total points and 38.9% shooting from the field, both figures marking Oral Roberts fourth lowest output in those respective statistical categories this season.

KEY MOMENTS | HIGHLIGHTS
- 1H – 17:11 / 7-0 | The Roos were hot offensively in the early going, as Diallo weaved his way through a thicket of Golden Eagle defenders and got all the way to the rack to convert the contested layup, completing a 7-0 run to start the game for the Roos.
- 1H – 12:26 / 14-6 | Petty worked his way into the paint, beating his defender off of the dribble before attempting a smooth jump pass to the cutting Brown who finished the play off with a one-touch layup to put the Roos up eight.
- 1H – 8:06 / 21-10 | Following a 9-4 mid-first half run by the Roos, Faas turned a broken possession into solid gold by nailing a fadeaway jump shot just inside the three point stripe right before the shot clock expired to give the Roos their first double digit lead of the night.
- 1H – 1:57 / 34-16 | Following a Roos defensive rebound, Kansas City got busy on the other end as Hall found a crease in the lane, stopped on a dime and threw a no look chest pass to Melvyn Ebonkoli for the and-one basket under the hoop which gave the Roos their largest lead of the first half.
- 2H – 13:26 / 52-35 | Kansas City continued to operate at a fast pace in the second half as Diallo threw up a lob to Brown who flipped the ball off the glass and into the hoop for a silky smooth alley-oop highlight.
- 2H – 11:57 / 58-37 | With the shot clock dwindling to under 10 seconds, the Roos found a late possession outlet in Faas who hoisted up a three pointer from the tip of the Roo's right elbow on the midcourt logo and saw the shot tickle the twine and give KC a 21-point advantage.
- 2H – 6:21 / 72-46 | The Roos poured it on in the final stages of the contest as Faas found Ring Nyeri in the left corner for a spot-up three ball that was true. Nyeri's first made field goal was Kansas City's 10th made three pointer of the game.
