Camryn Stickel threw her 16th complete game of the year
GRAND FORKS, ND — Kansas City Softball (20-28, 7-9) brought home its 20th win of the season in a shutout, 1-0 victory over North Dakota (13-40, 5-11). The Roos and the Fighting Hawks faced off in a pitching duel with Camryn Stickel throwing the complete game including four strikeouts. The Blue and Gold had a handful of scoring chances leaving seven runners on base, but one run was enough to make the difference. Lexy Smith brought Lauren Parker home with a single to make it on the scoreboard, but strong defense from the Roos is what secured the win. The second game between Kansas City and North Dakota was postponed due to rain and will be moved until tomorrow.
