Emani Bennett led the Roos, scoring 18 points in the first round match up
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Despite being down by double digits late in the game, eighth-seeded Kansas City Women's Basketball (12-20, 3-13 Summit) did not give up, giving itself a chance before ultimately falling to ninth-seeded Omaha (8-22, 3-13 Summit), 61-55.
