
Hall Goes for Season-High in Loss to Montana State

Davontae Hall led KC with 18 points in their third-straight loss
BOZEMAN, Mont. - Kansas City Men's Basketball (4-7) was outlasted on the road by Montana State this evening, 74-62. The Bobcats held Kansas City to 36% shooting from the field on the night, including a 22% clip from three-point range. The Roos made use of second chance opportunities, scoring 10 points via 12 offensive rebounds.
Davontae Hall scored a season-high 18 points on the night, going 4-of-7 from the field and shooting 8-of-10 from the charity stripe. No other Kansas City player scored more than eight points. Babacar Diallo stepped into the starting point guard position and led the team with five assists.

- Entering the game, Hall had not scored more than 10 points in a contest and was averaging 3.3 per game. He far surpassed that mark tonight, going for a season-high 18.
- Hall becomes the fifth player to lead KC in scoring in a game this season, joining Jamar Brown, Kasheem Grady II, Anderson Kopp and Jayson Petty.
- Diallo surpassed the five-assist mark for the eighth time in his career tonight. The Roos are 5-3 in those games.
