Kansas City Women’s Soccer Falls to St. Thomas in Final Road Match
10/20/2024 4:34:00 PM | Women's Soccer
Adriana Benassi led the Roos earning three of the nine shots on goal
ST. PAUL, Minn. — An early goal sealed Kansas City Women's Soccer's (7-7-3, 1-6) fate against St. Thomas (5-8-2, 1-4-1) with the Roos falling,1-0. The Tommies came out hot firing off 11 shots compared to Kansas City's three in the first half. St. Thomas found the back of the net in the 18th minute but the Blue and Gold were not backing down without a fight. Following the break, the Roos out-shot the Tommies 11 to three ultimately landing five more shots on frame. Sound goalkeeping from St. Thomas silenced an offensive KC squad and prevented what would have been the Roos' second comeback win of the season.
