Kansas City held SEMO to 1-of-19 three-point shooting and snapped a five-game losing streak
KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Men's Basketball (3-5) continued its perfect home record in convincing fashion against Southeast Missouri (1-6) tonight behind Jamar Brown's 19 points. The Roos got off to a fast start and never looked back, shooting 46.9% from the field in the first half to help them take a 21-point lead into the break.
The Roos would continue their good shooting night into the second half, shooting 46.2% from the field with a couple of threes to go with it. Along with the offense, Kansas City put up a clinic on the glass tonight, totaling 52 rebounds with 15 of those coming on the offensive end. Along with the boards, Kansas City was electric on defense, forcing 10 turnovers and recording four blocks.
