Kansas City Notes

Kansas City will celebrate Seniors during Sunday's matchup. The Roos will honor Lillie Fields, Anna Jennings, Sophia Smith and Rileigh Kuhns' contributions to the team.
Sophomore midfielder, Brianna Castleberry earned her sixth goal of the season and second assist in the matchup against Omaha. During conference play, Castleberry leads the Summit League in points with nine, and goals with four across six games. She is second in shots on goal with ten across six games. This season she leads the Roos in points with 14, goals with six and shots on goal with 18.
In their most recent matchup, Kansas City fell to Omaha 3-2. The Mavericks scored a 90-minute goal to win the game. Earlier in the season, the Roos beat St. Thomas 2-1 with a 90th-minute goal. Brianna Castleberry earned the game-winning goal for the Roos with just 19 seconds remaining in play.
The Roos wrapped up their road games of the regular season last week. So far this season, the Roos have a 2-1-3 record at home and a 0-5-4 record on the road.
Kansas City is averaging just over one goal per game, with 10.3 shots per game on average.

South Dakota Notes

The Coyotes will look to bring home their fourth win of conference play and second consecutive win.
South Dakota is currently in third place in the Summit League with nine points. South Dakota ranks behind a South Dakota State team that has 12 points and Denver at 16 points. Wins in their next two games would help South Dakota secure a home game during the Conference Tournament.

South Dakota State Notes

South Dakota State will face Oral Roberts on Thursday before traveling to Kansas City. The Jackrabbits go into their matchup hot off a 3-0 win over St. Thomas this past Thursday.
The Roos will look to win their first game against South Dakota State since Aug. 27, 2017.
Senior forward Jadenn Carrillo leads the Summit League in game-winning goals with three across 14 games.
