COLUMBIA, Mo. – Kansas City Softball (8-23, 4-2) fell to No. 25 Mizzou in the mid-week matchup with the Tigers (23-13, 3-5). Kloe Hilbrenner started the fourth inning with a double and later came around to score on an infield single by Ally Vonfeldt to get the Roos on the board in the 1-5 loss.

KEY MOMENTS

Bottom 1 / 1-0 | Missouri dropped a ball into the outfield that scored the leadoff batter from second base to take the early lead.
Bottom 3 / 3-0 | The Tigers drove a deep ball over the centerfield fence to bring in two more runs with two outs in the third.

Vonfeldt had half of KC's hits and the lone RBI of the game.
Hilbrenner's double was her seventh of the season. Fenoglio was the only other Roo to get a hit in the game. Each of them now has hits in 23 of the Roos' 31 games.
