George Clarke paced Kansas City, finishing tied for eighth among 84 players
HENDERSON, Nev. - Kansas City Men's Golf opened the spring season at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational this week, finishing in a tie for 12th place with hosting Costal Carolina. KC was paced by George Clarke, who shot six-under on the tournament to finish in a tie for eighth.

STATS TO NOTE
- Clarke was among the top-20 in scoring on par three (3.00; T7), four (4.03; T20) and five (4.42; T8) holes.
- Clarke shot off 12 birdies on the weekend, tied for the 16th best among the field. He also notched eagles in the first and second rounds, tied for the most at the invite.
- Daniel Gutgesell began the invitational with an even-par 72 in the first round, notching the only at-or-below par round besides Clarke.
- As a team, the Roos fired for 43 total birdies, ranking 11th among all teams.
