MBB Takes Win Streak on the Road

The Roos will travel to St. Thomas tomorrow at 7 p.m., followed by ORU on Saturday
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -Â Kansas City Men's Basketball will take it's best stretch of the season on the road this week, traveling to St. Thomas and Oral Roberts. The Roos have won seven-of-eight games, including three in-a-row. KC's 7-1 stretch is the program's best since the 2004-05 Roos went on an 11-game winning streak.

- Kansas City holds a 5-2 record on the road, and are within two wins of tying the program record for most road wins in a single season with seven.
- Marvin Nesbitt Jr. is going through the best stretch of his five-year career. The reigning Summit League Player of the Week dropped back-to-back double-doubles for the first time of his career, has scored in double-digits for a career-best eight-straight games and surpassed his career-high with 26 points against Western Illinois.
- When the Roos have a 20-point scorer, it is a recipe for success. Since the season-opener, the Roos are undefeated in the 12 games that they have had at least one player surpass the 20-point mark.
- Over the last three contests, the Roos have shot at a 51.9% clip from three-point range. Comparatively, KC was shooting 35.0% mark in the team's first 21 games.
- In just three years at the helm, Billy Donlon has led the Roos to two 15-win seasons. In comparison, the Roos had just two 15-win seasons from 2005-19.
- Kansas City has won the turnover battle in 20-of-24 games, and hold a 15-5 record in such contests.
