- 1 / 0-3 | Kansas City gave up four hits and three free passes to put themselves in a three-run hole.
- 2 / 2-6 | A tight strike zone loaded the bases off of walks and Garcia brought in two runs for the Roos with a single, but the Lady Rebels responded with three more runs of their own.
Mid 2? | After three free passes, Katelyn Garcia drives in Marina Karnes and Sydney Nichols to chip away at the lead.

- 3 / 2-8 | UNLV used a two-run homerun to largen their lead.
- 4 / 2-8 | Nichols got a hit to right-center, but a double-play ended KC's offense in the fourth.
- 5 / 2-9 | A pair of doubles brought in another run for the Lady Rebels.
- 6 / 7-11 | Kansas City batted around the lineup for six hits in the sixth inning, including a three-run homerun by Nichols, her third homerun of the season. Jenna Milan came in to pitch in the bottom of the inning but could not stop UNLV's offense as they added two more in their final at-bat.

- 7 / 7-11 | Another 6-4-3 double play ended KC's hopes of mounting another big inning.
- Kansas City had their most offensive production this season with nine hits and seven earned runs scored.
- Seven Roos had hits in the game, led by Nichols and Garcia in the eight and nine spots of the lineup. Nichols scored two runs and brought in three with a homerun and a single, while Garcia used a two-out single to bring in two runs in the second inning.
- Kloe Hilbrenner extended her hitting streak to seven games with a hit and an RBI in the sixth. She's recorded a hit in eight of the Roos' nine games this season.
The Roos will travel to Conway, Arkansas for the Michelle Short Memorial Classic where KC will take on Arkansas- Pine Bluff, Central Arkansas and Saint Louis. First pitch is at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday against Pine Bluff.
