The Roos won their seventh-straight game behind a Paige Bradford double-double

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Dominant paint play led Kansas City Women's Basketball (20-5, 10-4) to its seventh-straight win this afternoon, earning the regular season sweep of St. Thomas, 69-53. Paige Bradford posted a season-high in points and her third double-double of the year, finishing with 19 points and 10 rebounds. With the win, the Roos have their fourth 20-win season in program history.

1Q / 4-0 | Brooklyn McDavid started with back-to-back baskets in the paint to set the tone in the early-going.
1Q / 16-8 | The Roos doubled up the Tommies when Bradford found Naomie Alnatas for a second chance bucket.

STATS TO NOTE

The Roos have now won seven consecutive games, their second seven-plus-game win streak of the year. No other Roo team has ever had two seven-game win streaks in the same season.
Prior to Jacie Hoyt's arrival, the Roos had two 20-win seasons in program history. Hoyt has now posted two 20-win seasons in just five years at the helm.
Bradford notched her third double-double of the season, leading the Roos with 10 rebounds and a season-high 19 points.
St. Andre tied her career-high with 6 assists.
The Roos forced 17 turnovers and committed only nine, leading to a 10-0 advantage in fast break points and a 19-4 advantage in points off turnovers.
Alnatas stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, six assists, and three steals. She has now dished out at least six assists in three consecutive games.
Kansas City dominated the paint, scoring 42 points in the paint and allowing just 28.
