THE ROOS, QUOTED
Head Coach Jacie Hoyt
- On the state of the team
- "I love where the team is at right now, I love our chemistry. We've got a group that's incredibly connected, that's bought in and understanding of their roles. I felt like we finally have clicked and figured out our identity."
- On the team's third quarter performance
- "I guess I have to keep jumping them at halftime. It was the halftime, I don't know if you want to call it a pep-talk, tough love talk."
Paige Bradford
- On how the inside game opens up the perimeter
- "The offense we run is a pick-and-roll or pick-and-pop, depending on how they're playing us, so I feel like I can score on the in or outside. (Herself and McDavid) have a good post game and a good mid-range shot."
