Brooklyn McDavid tied her season-high with 29 points, including 21 in the Roos' come-back second half
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Another dominant fourth quarter led Kansas City Women's Basketball (21-5, 11-4) to its eighth-straight win this evening as the Roos exacted revenge over North Dakota, 71-61. Brooklyn McDavid paved the way for KC, scoring 21 of her season-high-tying 29 points in the second half.

- 2Q / 21-14 | Alnatas dished an inbounds pass to Dani Winslow, who used a quick move to get to the basket and score.
- 2Q / 26-32 | After Jocelyn Ewell pulled down an offensive board, Alnatas found Willems for the Roos' first three of the game, putting an end to UND's 18-2 run.
- 3Q / 28-37 | North Dakota scored the first five points of the second half before McDavid knocked down a turnaround jumper, sparking her huge second half.
- 3Q / 42-48 | McDavid scored 10-straight points for the Roos, taking them into the final frame down six.
- 4Q / 54-52 | After a Fighting Hawks technical foul, McDavid used a jab step and knocked down a free throw line jumper to give the Roos their first lead since the 4:43 mark of the second quarter.

- 4Q / 63-55 | After an Alnatas steal, Kiara Bradley found Paige Bradford in transition to cap off a 19-2 run by Kansas City.
- 4Q / 68-59 | With just over two minutes remaining in the game, Alnatas found Winslow for a three-pointer that put a dagger in the Fighting Hawks' chances.
STATS TO NOTE
- Kansas City now has seven fourth quarter comeback wins this season, with six of those coming in conference play.
- The Roos dominated the fourth quarter, outscoring North Dakota 29-13 while shooting 10-of-15 from the field and 4-of-6 from three-point-range to take control of the game.
- McDavid scored 29 points, tying her season high. She has now topped 20 points in seven different games this season.
- In the third quarter, the Roos scored 16 points. McDavid scored 14 of those points and assisted on the other two.
- The Roos were dominant near the basket, more than doubling the Fighting Hawks in points in the paint with a 36-16 advantage.
- Alnatas was the Roos' second-leading scorer with 15 points, also dishing out eight assists, securing six rebounds and grabbing four steals.

The Roos will look to secure one final win in the Swinney Center on Saturday afternoon, taking on North Dakota State at 2 p.m. Kansas City will honor McDavid, Alnatas, Bradley, Bradford, Willems, Jada Mickens, Jonaie Johnson and manager Garrett Roth post-game for Senior Day.
