
Roos Finish Road Trip with Loss at Wyoming

Sanaa' St. Andre scored 19 points to finish in double-digits for the seventh time this year
LARAMIE, Wyo. - A fourth quarter explosion by the Wyoming (6-3) offense put Kansas City Women's Basketball (3-7) away this afternoon, as the Roos fell, 72-43. It was an 11-point game entering the final frame, but the Cowgirls strung together a 14-point run early in the fourth that left nothing to doubt.
Rebounding, a stat that usually favors Kansas City, went in the direction of Wyoming in a decisive manner. The Cowgirls doubled the Roos up on the boards, pulling down 34 to Kansas City's 17. Dani Winslow led the Roos, totaling five rebounds.
Sanaa' St. Andre kept the Roos in the game early, accounting for over 50% of Kansas City's first half points. She finished with 19, shooting 8-of-16 from the field in 28 minutes of play.

- 1Q - 3:23 / 9-9 | The two teams traded buckets early in the first quarter, as RaVon Nero hit her first shot since returning from injury, a three-pointer that tied the game up for the final time.

- With 19 points today, St. Andre has reached double-digits in seven of her nine appearances this year.
- The Roos forced 18 Wyoming turnovers, converting them into 18 points. Jocelyn Ewell led Kansas City with three steals.
- Seventeen total rebounds is the fewest by Kansas City since reaching that same mark in a loss to Pacific on Nov. 8, 2019.
