COACH DIONNAH JACKSON-DURRETT, QUOTED
"Give UTEP credit. They came in, they had a game plan, and when you step up and you take charges like that … we have to make an adjustment."
"Now we understand how to prep with one day and go into the next game. Our starters played a lot of minutes on Friday and turned around and Dani plays 40 minutes tonight … When we come to conference play we'll be able to prepare a little different because we'll have a deeper bench."
UP NEXT
The Roos have a quick break before closing their season-opening homestand with a game against Utah Tech at 7 p.m. on Friday. Kansas City defeated the Trailblazers in a 76-62 decision last season.
