KANSAS CITY, Mo- Kansas City Volleyball dropped a match in three sets to South Dakota this evening (25-13, 25-18, 25-14). Raina Smith and Odyssey Warren led the way for the Roos with 9 kills each respectively.Â
KEY MOMENTS
- S1 / 3-2 | Carly Gillen and Rachel Sturdevant teamed up for a block to give the Roos an early edge.
- S1 / 8-15 | Peyton Van Nest assisted Warren on an electric kill out of a timeout.
- S1 / 13-25 | Georgia Mullins hustled to save a ball, but it falls just out of her reach and the Coyotes took the first set.
- S2 / 1-1 | Warren and Kimora Whetstone climbed the ladder and blocked the Coyotes' shot to even things early in set two.
